in cooperation with Economy of Love:

Standard & Registry Management

Green Carbon Factory Ltd. uses the EoL standard. This includes administration, certification criteria and an online platform for tracking and registering carbon credits. In addition, EoL manages the EoL Registry. EoL’s administration is structured in accordance with ISO 17067. The EoL standard is certified by certification bodies accredited according to ISO 17065.

Entrepreneurial future

EoL’s high-quality carbon credits improve the climate, biodiversity, soil and human health, food and water security, and the socio-economic conditions of smallholder farmers.
Together, we create a solid foundation for your entrepreneurial future.

Society, economy, culture and the environment

We define a sustainable economy as one that serves the global community by taking future generations into account. This goes hand in hand with our holistic approach. At Economy of Love, we define holistic sustainability as the balance between the four dimensions of society, economy, culture and environment.

Protect the balance of the ecosystem.

We can participate in economic growth while also developing our communities through education and the arts, creating fair and dignified working conditions, and protecting the earth and the balance of the ecosystem.

Turning Carbon into Future Value

Always one step ahead of market and industry trends

The EoL standard was developed by the non-profit organisation Egyptian Biodynamic Association (Demeter Egypt) and is legally owned by them. Validation is based on the EoL project design document provided by the Carbon Footprint Centre (CFC). To avoid double counting, each EoL project certificate is given a serial number linked to the invoices, date of issue and amount of t CO2. The CFC is certified at the organisational level according to ISO 14064-12018 and at the project level according to ISO 14064-2:2019 for the quantification, monitoring and reporting of standards for reducing greenhouse gas emissions or improving removal.

  • Provision of a comprehensive certification standard for sustainable and ethical value chains.

  • Ensuring transparency for stakeholders, particularly end consumers, by showing them how their products are made, who makes them, and what impact they have on the environment and people.

  • The aim is to reduce agricultural CO2 emissions and to reward farmers for their positive environmental contributions in terms of CO2 sequestration and avoidance.

  • Investing in unlocking the potential and development of farmers, communities and nature’s regenerative capacity.

  • Raising public awareness of sustainable living and working and promoting understanding of a holistic economy through interactive and comprehensive educational programmes.
